Global Grain International Secures EUR 25 million Romanian Government Aid through National Program INVESTALIM

Global Grain International SRL, a subsidiary of Trans-Oil Group, is delighted to announce the successful securing of 121 million RON (approximately EUR 25 million) in government aid from the Romanian Government through the National Program INVESTALIM. This significant financial support will be instrumental for the company's strategic expansion within Romania.

The granted state aid will be allocated towards the construction of a state-of-the-art processing facility in Ialomita County. This new plant is designed to process up to 300,000 tons of soybeans or rape seeds annually, bolstering Romania's agricultural processing capabilities and contributing to the local economy. The overall costs to build the processing facility are projected to reach up to 212 million RON (approximately EUR 43 million).

The construction of the facility is planned to commence in the first quarter of the calendar year 2025, with an expected timeline of 24 months until completion. Once operational, the plant will not only enhance the efficiency and capacity of soybean and rape seed processing but also create significant employment opportunities and foster economic growth in the region.
