TOI Commodities SA Secures Tender to Supply 12,600 MT of Sunflower Seed Oil to Egypt’s GASC

TOI Commodities SA, the Swiss-based subsidiary of Trans-Oil Group, is pleased to announce its successful bid in the sunflower seed oil tender held by Egypt’s General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) on 7 August 2024. TOI Commodities SA has been awarded the contract to supply 12,600 metric tons of sunflower seed oil, scheduled for delivery in the second half of October 2024.
The sunflower seed oil, of Black Sea origin, will be sourced from the Republic of Moldova and Romania. It will be produced at the state-of-the-art processing facilities owned and operated by the Trans-Oil Group in these countries. This ensures the highest standards of quality and safety, which are the hallmarks of the Group’s products.
Egypt, which imports up to 1 million metric tons of sunflower seed oil annually, is recognized as a leader in the East Mediterranean region, and Trans-Oil Group is honored to contribute to its vibrant and expanding market.
