Floarea Soarelui SA joins the National Forest Expansion and Restoration Program

We are pleased to announce that Floarea Soarelui SA, part of Trans-Oil Group, participated in the implementation of the Republic of Moldova’s National Forest Expansion and Restoration Program 2023–2032, an initiative aimed at the sustainable management of natural resources and the expansion of the country’s forest area.

As part of this initiative, company employees, together with representatives of the state-owned enterprise Moldsilva, participated in a tree-planting campaign carried out on the territory of the forestry and hunting reserve in the Fălești district, near the village of Glinjeni.

The company’s participation in this initiative reflects its continued commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. At the same time, the event once again highlighted the importance of cooperation between the business community and public institutions in advancing shared long-term environmental goals.

During the campaign, Floarea Soarelui SA employees planted 7,856 saplings across a total area of 4.02 hectares, including one-year-old acacias, ash trees, and 100 wild cherry saplings.

Through such initiatives, Floarea Soarelui SA actively contributes to the restoration of the Republic of Moldova’s forest resources and to building a more sustainable future for the next generations.
